Sometimes the coolest part of a character isn't even the hero, it's the creature standing next to them. It can be a dragon-rider chilling in a sunlit palace or a warden back-to-back with a massive wolf; we want to show that they actually trust each other. It's more than just a "pet." It's about the way they look out for one another and how they look together as a team.

We focus on the details that make them feel real—like the texture of the fur, the scratches on a piece of armor, or the way a dragon leans its head against its rider.
