How It Works
Commissioning your custom fantasy portrait is simple, personal and fun. Here's everything you need to know — from start to finish.
Browse & Choose Your Commission
Start by exploring our shop and finding the commission type that suits your character. We offer different formats — bust portraits, half-body, full-body — each at a different price point. Not sure what you want? Check out our Characters guide for inspiration.
Purchase on Etsy
Click the "Buy on Etsy" button on any product page. You'll be taken to our Etsy shop where you can securely complete your purchase. Etsy protects your payment and your purchase.
Fill In the Questionnaire
After your purchase, you'll receive our Character Questionnaire. Take your time with it — the more detail you give us, the closer we can get to your vision. You can describe your character's race, class, alignment, appearance, weapons, clothing, accessories and overall vibe.
No pressure at all. If you don't have all the answers, just send a photo of yourself (or the person the portrait is for) and we'll use our creativity to surprise you.
We Create Your Artwork
Our artists get to work on your character. We put great care into every detail — from the expression and lighting to the smallest accessory. All portraits are completely original artworks inspired by your description.
Receive Your Portrait
Once finished, your artwork is delivered digitally via Etsy — high-resolution PNG or PDF, ready to use as a profile picture, D&D character sheet, print, or anything else you have in mind.
Important Notes
Original Artwork Only
We do not copy or recreate existing characters. All portraits are 100% original, inspired by your description and our creative interpretation.
Revisions
Revision policy varies by product — check the listing for details. We always aim to get it right the first time with clear communication.
Usage Rights
Your portrait is for personal use — profile pictures, character sheets, gifts and personal printing. Commercial use requires a separate license. See our Terms & Conditions.
