That happens, and it isn't a problem. Every adopt here started as a blank canvas and somebody's idea of what belonged on it. This is the same process — the difference is that the idea is yours.

A custom commission is a booked slot rather than a finished character. You tell us the species, the build, the colors, and the mood, and the fursona gets built around that from the first sketch onward.

What a custom gets you that an adopt doesn't

A premade furry adopt is finished, immediate and one-of-one, and its strength is that it already exists. A custom trades that immediacy for exactness. Species and hybrid traits, markings, hairstyle, clothing, color gradients, the specific shade of the eyes — all of it gets decided rather than accepted. If there's a character who has lived in your head for years and never quite made it onto paper, this is the listing that fixes that.

And if there isn't one yet? "Your choice" is a perfectly good answer to any field. Some of the best furry art we've made came from a species, a mood, and permission to run with it.

How the design process works

You book the slot, then send through whatever you have: species, gender and body type, main colors, personality and vibe, a name, and any special features — horns, wings, clothing, whatever matters to you. Text descriptions, mood boards, and rough sketches all help, and more detail gets you closer to what you pictured.

What you end up with

A complete fursona ref sheet delivered as a high-resolution master JPG, plus four separate poses and a close-up headshot as transparent PNGs — a custom full-body pose along with front, back, and side profiles. The color palette is blocked out on the sheet itself, so any artist you hand it to can match your character exactly.

Then it belongs to you outright. Commission other artists with it, hand it straight to a fursuit maker, run it as a streaming avatar or a tabletop furry OC. Full rights, no restrictions, and your design is never duplicated or resold to anyone else.
